Producing/Directing

Whilst working as an artist, Johanna developed a strong interest in directing and producing and has accumulated major credits as a director and producer of television and theatre.

She was Casting Producer for Series One of The Voice 2011/2012. She has also consulted in television as both Performance Producer and Director of Live segments, and has also staged numbers for feature film, TV commercials and large scale events. Her theatrical direction credits include: Die Fledermaus (Australian Tour Co*Opera), Her associate director positions include productions for State Theatre of SA, Malthouse Theatre and she has worked as Director, Dramaturg and  Musical Director for numerous other independent and commercial  theatre companies.

She has had extensive experience in youth music and theatrical events and has worked as  Director/Producer on the National Rock Eisteddfod Festival,  Come Out (Australia’s leading youth arts festival),and as creative producer on Central Park Music Festival, Africka Journey Federation Square, and Lincoln Centre Writers Festival New York.

She has produced, directed or collaborated with numerous organisations including: Community Arts in Action Australia,  Melbourne International Festival, Adelaide International Festival , New York Arts Festival Programming, New York Music Theatre Festival,  Adelaide Cabaret Festival, South Australian Youth Arts Board, Australia Council , Australian Dance Theatre , Kojo Interactive Media, Come Out Youth Theatre Festival,  International Melbourne Festival, International Adelaide Festival, Australia Council , Australian Performing Rights Association, Universal Music Publishing,  and Warner Brothers( Film and music).

Her most recent Directorial role was as Co-Director and Vocal Coach Young Talent Time Live tour(National Tour) hosted by Rob Mills. In addition to this – she has worked within cultural programming, assisted in film and television casting, public relations, and venue management.
